Fox Valley Christian Academy (FVCA) has provided a quality PreK through 8th grade Christian education to students for over 40 years. A ministry of Calvary Bible Church, our mission is to help students fulfill the mandate Christ has given to every believer to "Love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength. And love your neighbor as yourself" (Mark 12:30-31). As a school, we strive to facilitate the spiritual, academic, physical, emotional, and social development of each student.
FVCA offers children the opportunity to develop not only a strong intellect, but a strong faith rooted in biblical principles. This means Bible is more than just a class. Instead biblical truth is integrated into all subject areas, teaching students discernment as they develop a biblical worldview This Christ-centered education helps students establish a solid foundation they will stand on for the rest of their lives.
At FVCA, we strive to honor and glorify God by pursuing academic excellence. We offer students a challenging yet nurturing academic environment, consisting of a curriculum taught by teachers who are passionate about their students’ learning. We believe our emphasis on creativity, critical thinking, and real-world application with a Christian worldview will guide our students to academic success both in their future education and career.
Students have an abundance of opportunities for spiritual, social, academic, and physical growth. Examples for spiritual growth include Bible instruction, morning devotions, weekly chapels, school mission projects, and Scripture memorization. We teach responsible behavior, decision-making skills, and respect for family and government. Leadership development is encouraged through opportunities for involvement with yearbook staff, school projects, and social events. Soccer leagues, competitive volleyball and basketball teams are available to students, in addition to physical education classes, recess, and ski club.
FVCA families are connected—to the school and each other. This connection fosters an atmosphere that helps students develop relationships that will last them for years to come. We love that FVCA families support each other, pray for one another, and seek to live as the body of Christ.
