Student Life -
Field trips are designed to supplement the academic curriculum. Classrooms participate in four or five trips each year, including arts performances and visits to community businesses, nature preserves, museums, and government buildings. Permission slips are sent home prior to each field trip.
Field trips last year included excursions to the Heckrodt Wetland Reserve, the Gordon Bubolz Nature Preserve, the Ledgeview Caves, Memorial Park Arboretum and Gardens, Cuff Farms, Star Apple Orchard, Heritage Hill, the Milwaukee Zoo and Mosquito Hill Nature Center. Most classes enjoy trips to the Performing Arts Center in Appleton or the Weidner Center for the Performing Arts in Green Bay to attend plays, musicals, and concerts. The cost of most field trips is included in the annual student registration and activity fee.
