Student Life: Missions Week
The purpose of Missions Week at Fox Valley Christian Academy is to foster a greater
understanding of the biblical mandate for missions 
and to gain an understanding of God's
desire to redeem all peoples of all nations. Students and staff
study an area of the world
or specific people group or groups in order to gain an awareness of, and compassion for, the
unreached millions in our world.
The 2009 Missions Week highlighted mission aviation and featured the ministry of JAARS, Jungle Aviation and Radio Service. Events throughout the week included classroom devotions on mission aviation, speakers from JAARS, a helicopter tour, and rides on the JAARS chopper.
