Student Life: Fine Arts
Music
Students in grades 1-6 attend two weekly music classes. These classes are designed to promote music appreciation and develop music-reading skills. While studying and performing many musical genres, students in grades 1-5 prepare for a musical and perform in concerts throughout the year.
Middle School students may choose electives in music, art, and technology arts.
They are given the opportunity to participate in singing and dancing, and on tech crews.
The Middle School
Choir performs several concerts during the year. The Middle School
worship team leads praise and worship for the Middle School chapel services throughout the year.
Drama
4th-8th grade students have the opportunity to be involved in an extra-curricular drama program. There are 2 sessions each academic year with performances in December and May. Students gain experience both on-stage and behind the scenes.
