FVCA recognizes the value of extra-curricular athletic activities. The athletics program at FVCA is designed to complement and enhance the academic and spiritual experience of our students. While athletic competition is not for everyone, the opportunity to participate on a sports team promotes a healthy lifestyle, self-confidence, teamwork, good sportsmanship, commitment to a shared goal, and a sense of fairness. Effective coaches instill high standards in their players by expecting that they give their best performance, handling themselves in a Christ-honoring manner.

Athletic Programs

Soccer

Fall soccer is offered to all students in 1st-6th grades. 1st/2nd grade teams are coached-refereed and designed to develop skills. The 3rd/4th and 5th/6th grade teams are competitive and participate in weekly games. The soccer season runs September thru October.

Volleyball

Competitive volleyball teams are open to girls in 5th-8th grades. Teams participate in several tournaments throughout the season. Clinics are also offered to girls in grades 4-8. The volleyball season begins mid-August and runs thru October.

Basketball

Boys and girls in 5th-8th grades are given the opportunity to participate in our basketball program. Teams participate in tournaments throughout the season. The season runs November thru February. 4th graders may also choose to participate in spring clinics and scrimmage sessions.

Ski Club

Ski Club is one of our more popular athletic programs. Participants make four trips to Nordic Mountain in Mt. Morris, WI during the months of January and February. This program offers highly discounted prices and makes skiing fun and affordable for the entire family. Ski Club is open to all students, families, and alumni of FVCA. Elementary students (Preschool-5th grade) must be accompanied by a parent on all trips.

Football

Football is available to boys in grades 5-8 through Seton Middle School and the Twin Cities Catholic Education System (TCCES) in the Neenah-Menasha area. This program is designed to educate and motivate students in a fun, safe, faith-filled environment. The season runs from mid-August to mid-October.
